CHESTER’S TOWN HALLS: VISITS TO PLACES OF DEMOCRACY, JUNE 22 AT 10:00
Book now and pay Tour Guide, Lyn Hand who will lead this special Chester Heritage Festival walk to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Chester Town Hall. It was officially opened in 1869 after its antecedent burnt down in 1862. Following a short tour of the Town Hall the walk will continue to other sites associated with the history of democracy in Chester.
Meet in the Visitor Information Centre at the Town Hall for this 90-minute walk, which includes steps. Takes place 22 June at 10:00. Book now, pay tour guide. Costs: £8 adult, £7 concession (in full time education, retired) and £20 family (2 adults & 2 children under 16).
