Explore the world-famous medieval shopping galleries, first built in the days of the great port of Chester and modernised by the Georgians and Victorians. Discover a priest hole hidden in a fireplace, medieval cellars and passageways, 300-year-old graffiti, beautiful decorated plasterwork that hints of the intrigues of the day and even the remains of the Roman HQ building. You’ll be amazed at the treasures tucked away inside the bustling city centre shops! Meet in the Visitor Information Centre at the Town Hall for the 90-minute walk, which includes many steps.
